Marcus’s international leather background spans over 22 years in the heute niveau leather manufacturing industry. He has handcrafted exotic leather goods for high end fashion houses in Cape Town, New York, Paris, London, Milan, Frankfurt, Tokyo and our very own Sydney. Marcus has been educated, trained and skilled in Frankfurt, Germany at 1 of the 3 International Leather Handcraft & Design schools in Europe.(Germany, France & Italy) His skills are being passed onto the production team every day to ensure the highest standard of craftsmanship and attention-to-detail is applied at all times.

We also pride our craftsmanship not only with modern applications but also with old school traditional methods. It is our insistence on using genuine Australian materials and maintaining consistent quality that is earning Coastline Hat Co. a reputation as not only one of the most respected milliners on the Australian Gold Coast, but one of the few, if not the only remaining true Iconic Australian Hat manufacturer. Our belts (with interchangeable Italian Buckles) are made of genuine Crocodile Leather and Hatbands and Key Rings are manufactured with real Crocodile Teeth. All Crocodile products are CITIES approved, thus exportable.
